October 12: A competition for students with a €10,000 prize to find sustainable innovations that promote the use of metal cans, organised by European metal Packaging (Empac), the body that represents the industry, has been extended.
Final date for applications to the ‘Empac Challenge – The Next 200 Years’ is midnight on 5 May 2011 with the winner being announced during next year’s Interpack exhibition in Düsseldorf (12-18 May).
