Novelis, the leading supplier of aluminium canstock to canmaking companies, has set itself a number of sustainability targets as part of what it calls a ‘triple bottom line’ approach to business.
This is outlined in the Atlanta-based aluminium product specialist’s first sustainability report in which it aims to be a top performer in three areas: economically, environmentally and socially.
Top of the list of targets is to use recycled aluminium in 80 percent of its input material by 2020.
