Following two years of decline, production of aerosol cans in Europe in 2010 rose by 6.4 percent year-on-year to 5.51 billion units, according to the latest data from the European Aerosol Federation (FEA).

It is the strongest increase in the decade, the previous best being in 2007 when aerosol can output grew 5.4 percent to 5.41bn.
