August 1: Europe’s largest contract manufacturer and filler of aerosol cans, ColepCCL, has agreed to acquire Germany’s Czewo Full Filling Service from private-equity fund Argantis for a reported 87m euros (US$135m).
The new company, yet to be named, will have combined sales of around 520m euros ($780m) and employ 2,800 staff at nine sites in five countries. The acquisition is due to be completed by end September, said ColepCCL in a press release.
