Worldwide production of aluminium aerosol cans in 2011 is expected to break last year’s record of about 6 billion units, according to Aerobal, the International Organisation of Aluminium Aerosol Container Manufacturers.

In the first half of 2011, production increased by 8 percent to reach 3.3 bn. Third quarter orders have also been satisfactory, says Aerobal, with the capacity of several companies fully booked until the end of the year.
