Aluminium aerosol can output up 8.2% in 2011

Worldwide production of aluminium aerosol cans in 2011 grew 8.2 percent year-on-year to a record 6.6 billion cans, according to the international aluminium aerosol can association Aerobal.

In Europe, where per capita consumption is about 11 aerosol cans per year, demand grew ten percent in 2011.
