Aluminium bottle capacity to double at Ball

October 6: Manufacturing capacity for the Ball aluminium drinks bottles used by brewers Coors and Miller is expected to double with the installation of a second line next year following “strong customer demand”.

Ball has been making Alumi-Tek bottles at its Monticello, Indiana, plant since 2006 using necking and closure technology licensed from Japanese canmaker UCC.
