Two newly-installed beverage can lines will be started up soon in North America by Ardagh as part of its US$250 million Business Growth Investment programme for 2020.

As the Ireland-based can and bottle producer released its third quarter results it said that the “favourable outlook for packaging” supported investment of more than $1.8 billion over the next four years, 85 per cent which will be in beverage can capacity.
