The Canmaker Summit, which is being held this year from 9-10 October at the Leonardo Royal Hotel London St Paul’s, UK, is the annual gathering of decision-makers from the global metal packaging and filling community.

Confirmed speakers for 2019 include: Jason Ramskill, VP operations at Ball Europe, UK; Stephen McAneny, group VP commercial at Canpack SA, Poland; Michael Mapes, chief executive at Exal Corporation, USA; Robert Fell, chief executive of the Metal Packaging Manufacturers Association, UK; Hermann Kirner, business manager at Metallbildner, Germany; and Uday Patel, senior research manager for aluminium markets at Wood Mackenzie, UK.

This is the first time the Summit has taken place in the City of London, where it will begin with an evening networking reception on Tuesday 8 October in the Nelson Chamber at St Paul’s Cathedral, followed by two days of meetings, discussions and topical presentations.

On the evening of Wednesday 9 October, The Canmaker magazine Cans of the Year Awards dinner and presentation will celebrate and reward the latest developments and innovations in the metal packaging industry.
