To meet rising demand for beer cans in China, Ball Corporation is replacing its joint-venture canmaking operation in Qingdao with a larger facility, while it is evaluating further expansion in the country.
Due to start up in December 2011, the new facility in Qingdao will house a pair of two-piece aluminium beverage can lines.
