May 27: Coca-Cola Enterprises (CCE) recognised canmaking company Ball Packaging Europe (BPE) as its top supplier earlier this week.
At the soft drinks filler’s Supplier Sustainability Summit, held in Brussels on Tuesday, CCE awarded BPE the top ‘Supplier of the Year’ title for the second year running, after the canmaker supplied CCE with 2.4 billion cans in Europe throughout 2009.
Chief executive of CCE John Brock [pictured, right] presented the award to BPE’s president Gerrit Heske.
