Ball is planning to build a fourth canmaking facility in Brazil that will come on stream early in 2012.
The plant, to be operated by majority-owned Latapack-Ball Embalagens, will be at Alagoinhas, in the north east Bahia state, and will have one line capable of making a number of different speciality beverage can sizes. Its manufacturing capacity was not revealed.
