June 2: Ball Packaging Europe’s beverage can plant at Hermsdorf in Germany has been given a one million euro ($1.42m) grant by the state of Saxony-Anhalt to help improve productivity.
The grant, which was handed over last week during a visit by Dr Reiner Haseloff, the Minister for Economic Affairs in Saxony-Anhalt, also enables 22 new jobs to be created.
