Ball recognised for its viral marketing

An augmented reality campaign that has won canmaking firm Ball Packaging Europe (BPE) a clutch of awards in Germany has been adopted by brewer Karlsberg for its MiXery beer mix brand.

By linking images of canned drinks with smart phones, consumers are able to create images of themselves with cartoon characters for viral marketing campaigns. The latest version features Nathan Drake, hero of Sony’s Uncharted video game.
