Ball to build its first canmaking plant in Russia

Ball Corporation is planning to build its first beverage canmaking plant in Russia after getting the go-ahead from local authorities.

The plant will be located on land Ball acquired in southern Russia in 2007 at Rostov-on-Don, near the Black Sea. When the land was acquired local reports said that the plant would represent a $120 million investment.
