Ball to cease canmaking operations in Russia March 29, 2022 NewsCanmaking Ball began construction on its fourth plant in Russia, at Ulyanovsk, in October 2021. Operations were originally due to start in early 2023 Ball Corporation will stop trading in Russia and sell its business there in response to the country’s invasion of Ukraine.
