October 13: Two manufacturing plants in North America will be closed by Ball Corporation by the end of the year as part of the reorganisation of its Metal Food & Household Products division.
The move follows the acquisition of ten plants from US Can Corporation earlier this year and will enable operations to be consolidated in other Ball facilities.
