August 12: Ball Corporation could be making other acquisitions following its deal with Anheuser-Busch Inbev to buy four of its Metal Container Corporation (MCC) canmaking plants.

Ball Corporation is raising US$700 million with a public offering to pay for its acquisition of the MCC plants. The amount is $50m more than previously announced and remaining proceeds could be used for other acquisitions.
