July 31: H.J Heinz’s baked beans, one of the world’s longest-lived canned products, has undergone an image makeover in the UK and Ireland and is now called simply ‘Heinz Beanz’.
While the product itself is unchanged, the new label replaces the words ‘Heinz Baked Beans’ with ‘Heinz Beanz’ and an image of the product. However, the iconic turquoise label and the shape of the emblem remain unchanged.
