January 21: Print technology that enhances the quality of images reproduced on beverage cans has been launched by leading canmaking firm Crown.
Beer and soft drinks customers across North America & Europe are being shown the benefits of High Quality Print, a technique that is said to considerably extend the traditional studio print reproduction process.
High Quality Print makes use of proprietary separation techniques and special, high-resolution printing plates providing superior images on cans, says Crown. The technique is particularly suitable for reproducing fine detail images such as human or animal faces, fruit and fine text.
