October 14: Crown announced today that it is to expand its beverage canmaking capacity in Turkey to “provide a strong platform for exports to the surrounding markets in the Middle East and North Africa”.
Capacity will be increased within its existing two-line facility at Izmit near Istanbul, and a new manufacturing plant will be constructed in the Osmaniye region, in south-central Turkey.
