Aluminium producer Alcoa expects growth in the packaging markets it supplies to grow at up to 3 percent by the end of this year.
It announced that sales in the third quarter were US$6.4 billion, up 21 percent on the same three months of 2010, but net profit was down 47 percent at $172m.
