Big Irn-Bru cans launched for the big kick-off

June 3: Football fans who find that 33cl of soft drink isn’t enough to last the full length of a match will be cheered by promotional 50cl cans of Scottish carbonated soft drink Irn-Bru, launched in time for the FIFA World Cup.

The cans, which sport images of footballs and the slogan ‘Big Match Can’, are being manufactured by Rexam. More than five million of the cans are due to be filled at brand owner AG Barr’s operations at Cumbernauld, Scotland.
