French vegetable canner Bonduelle has been increasing its commitment to canned foods. Peter Crosskey met the company’s new chief executive in Paris
Bonduelle’s new group chief executive Daniel Vielfaure was emphatic about the role of metal packaging at the vegetable canner when it announced its first-half results in Paris last month.
“Cans inspire confidence among consumers,” he told The Canmaker. Vielfaure is from Quebec, a former Carrière group executive who oversaw the integration of Bonduelle’s North American business unit and succeeded Pierre Deloffre as the group chief executive in January this year.
