Brazil and China drives Ball's results

Strong growth in sales of beverage cans in Brazil and China ensured that Ball Corporation’s third-quarter sales were up by 1 percent at US$2.28 billion, but the costs of plant closures in North America hit net profit for the three months, which was $115.1 million, compared with $132.1m in the same period of 2011.
