Can-Pack, the Polish-based canmaker, is planning to make its first investment in Brazil, one of the fastest-growing beverage can markets in the world.
According to news reports, it is considering the construction of a beverage can plant at Manaus, where Can-Pack’s Mariusz Kosla is said to have recently met officials and business representatives from the Federation of Industries of Amazonas State (FIEAM). The can body plant would be the state’s first and would join two end making plants run by Crown and Rexam at Manaus.
