August 20: North American general line metal and plastics packaging manufacturer BWAY turned a fiscal third quarter loss last year into a profit of US$8.1m in the three months to the end of June.
Chief executive Kenneth Roessler said: “While the near-term market environment remains challenging, particularly as it relates to product demand and inflationary pressures, we believe these results confirm the strong fundamentals and resiliency of our business.”
