April 15: Proposals for a deposit and recovery system that covers all the Nordic countries in Europe were being discussed at a meeting in Stavanger today.
The Nordic Council’s Environment and Business committees were expected to submit a proposal for a co-ordinated system for bottles and cans in Denmark, Norway, Sweden and Finland, and possibly others in the region.
