Canmakers meet to set global sustainability agenda

The world’s canmaking organisations meet on Monday in California for a two-day conference that is expected to establish ground rules to promote metal as a sustainable packaging solution.

The Global Canmakers Forum will be attended by executives from the Can Manufacturers Institute representing the US, Abralatas, the Brazilian beverage can manufacturers association, Metal Packaging Europe, the cross-industry body that is being publicly launched at Interpack, plus Japan’s leading canmaker Toyo Seikan Kaisha.
