November 7: Two of Japan’s leading canmaking companies have agreed a business tie-up to reduce their spending on raw materials, equipment and distribution, and to improve production efficiency.

Daiwa Can and Universal Can Corporation will restructure their can and end production operations in a move also designed to improve order turnaround times.
