The Canmaker magazine is preparing to launch a dedicated careers website designed to connect skilled professionals with leading companies in the metal packaging and related sectors globally.
Canmaking Careers will offer a platform for employers to post vacancies, while candidates can explore roles in areas such as engineering, manufacturing, quality and technical, safety, supply chain, design and R&D, and management, as well as apprenticeships.
“For years the canmaking industry has played a vital role in global manufacturing and supply chains – yet professionals in this field have lacked a central resource for career opportunities,” said Allan Sayers, founder of Sayers Publishing Group. “We created Canmaking Careers to bring visibility and connection to an important industry that needs to attract new talent.”
Canmaking Careers will offer a range of tools and features including:
- Targeted job listings: Employers can reach a focused audience of industry professionals.
- CV writing services: Expert assistance in creating an impactful CV/resume that highlights a candidate’s strengths and aligns with industry standards.
- Career and employment insights: Regular articles and updates on what is happening in the metal packaging jobs market, as well as industry trends and innovation.
- Podcasts: Listen to industry experts discuss the latest challenges and opportunities in the canmaking sector.
The anticipated launch of Canmaking Careers comes at a time of transformation for the metal packaging industry as the emphasis on sustainability, recyclability and technological advancements grows. The new platform will aim to support this by bridging the gap between talent and opportunity.
“The canmaking industry’s future depends on attracting and retaining the right talent,” added Sayers. “Canmaking Careers is about helping companies find the expertise they need and professionals find a career in the dynamic world of canmaking.”
