July 22: An Austrian brewer has launched a beer brand in cans specifically for revellers at music festivals this summer.
Brewer Ottakringer has introduced Ottarocker in 50cl aluminium cans, produced by Rexam at its Enzesfeld facility in Austria. The limited-edition cans will only be available at Austrian music festivals including Novarock, Frequency and Wiesen. The launch will be backed by other marketing including branded stickers, t-shirts, beer tankards and inflatable hands, as well as a page on music networking website MySpace.
