The 2022 edition of Cannex & Fillex Asia Pacific, the canmaking industry exhibition and conference which was to take place in Guangzhou, China, on 7-10 June, has been postponed due to the latest travel restrictions and safety concerns relating to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic.
The event, which is sponsored by The Canmaker magazine, may still take place later in 2022, with further details to be confirmed.
Sayers Publishing Group, which organises the event, said in a statement: “In the light of the new Omicron variant and the escalation of safety measures, Cannex & Fillex Asia Pacific, which was scheduled for 7-10 June 2022, will be postponed. We are disappointed to have to take this step again, but we must respect medical advice and travel rules, which are in place to protect us all.
“We are looking at the possibility of rescheduling the event later in 2022.”
