Danish-based brewer Carlsberg has expanded its operations in India with the installation of a canning line at its Aurangabad brewery.
The line started filling aluminium 50cl cans in January, and augments two other canning lines run by Carlsberg at its plant at Paonta Sahib in northern India.
Cans filled at Aurangabad are supplied by Can-Pack India from its nearby canmaking plant which was opened in 2009 and has capacity of 650m cans a year.
