CCEP trial sees 11,000 cans recycled by Scottish students

Environmental charity Keep Scotland Beautiful has partnered with the college and Coca-Cola Europacific Partners (CCEP) to introduce a 20p reward - redeemable at the University’s canteens - for every can and plastic bottle recycled through RVMs on campuses during September.

In a trial backed by Coca-Cola Europacific Partners (CCEP), more than 11,000 cans were recycled by students in Scotland following the introduction of a GBP0.20 financial incentive for using Reverse Vending Machines (RVM).
