May 28: Metal decorating firm Ohio Art won this year’s annual International Metal Decorators Association decoration prize, presented last week at the IMDA’s annual conventional in Chicago.
The Excellence in Quality Grand Award was for Ohio Art’s 100th Anniversary Collector’s Edition decorated tin produced last year to celebrate the founding of the company at Bryan, Ohio, in 1908. The tin was also best in the Specialty category from Independent Can’s Award of Excellence recipient Hudson Bay Milk Chocolate container.
