China’s Lanzhou Zhongshihe Packaging Co is investing in the first two-piece beverage can line in Xinjiang, in addition to a digital printing line with a view to further increasing capacity.
The canmaker held a recent investment agreement-signing ceremony in Urumqi where the plant will be built on a 7,500 sqm site at the Urumqi Green Digital Packaging Industrial Park,
The canmaking line will make 330ml, 500ml aluminium cans and other sizes, while the digital flexible production line will support traditional eight-colour printing and customisation.
