December 24: Executives from China’s COFCO group, its CPMC canmaking subsidiary and machinery supplier Stolle were at the ceremony to officially open the company’s first two-piece beverage can line last week – a month ahead of schedule.
The line has been constructed within CPMC’s Hangzhou complex near Shanghai, one of eight canmaking plants operated by the company in China.
