September 24: Campbell Soup has brought its iconic soup brand in line with current health regulations by reducing the sodium content of many of its varieties, writes US editor Richard Estrada.

The company has adjusted the formula in its tomato soup and more than 80 other varieties. Its new tomato soup has 480 milligrams of salt compared with the traditional 710 milligrams.
