Inks and coatings specialist AkzoNobel is to construct a new production facility in India to serve the canmaking industry.
The plant, part of the company’s Industrial Coatings division, will be located at Thane and will produce coatings for metal and flexible packaging, and will primarily serve the India, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and Southeast Asia markets.
