Cocaine in cans leads to airport arrest

December 15: Former England cricket player Chris Lewis has appeared in a UK court after been charged with attempting to smuggle cocaine worth £200,000 ($295,500) in cans of fruit.

The 4kg haul of cocaine was in liquid form and stored in the cans. The arrest was made after Border Agency staff at Gatwick Airport found the drugs during a routine luggage search.
