Colombia’s $400m brewery project

A new brewery is being built in Colombia by Chile’s leading drinks firm Compania Cervecerias Unidas (CCU), say local reports.

The $400 million investment will create at least 1,000 jobs when it is completed in two years’ time. CCU says that the brewery will improve its distribution of Heineken and Coors Light beers on the Colombian market.
