| Crown Asia Pacific’s Josef Saelerts: plans to complete acquired beverage can project |
January 23: Vietnamese food and drink manufacturer Interfood Shareholding has received an offer from Crown Packaging Investment Pte Ltd, a division of Crown Holdings, to buy a share of its packaging division, which includes a beverage canmaking project.
The canmaking plant at Interfood’s headquarters at Dong Nai, near Ho Chi Minh City, has been under construction since early in 2008 using a single refurbished second-hand DWI production line. Engineering was by a local consultant.
