July 15: World leading canmaker Crown Holdings has commissioned its latest beverage can plant in Brazil, to meet demand in a market that is growing at between 12 and 15 percent.

Located at Stay, in the north-east state of Sergipe, the 700 million can-a-year plant is Crown’s third in the country, enabling it to reach a total domestic capacity of more than three billion cans a year.
