World leading canmaking company Crown is to build two more beverage can plants in China, in addition to the eight that it is already operating or has under construction.
The two new plants and an additional line at a plant being built now, all of which are expected to start delivering cans in 2013, will add more than 2 billion cans a year capacity to the more than 5bn Crown will have in China by the end of 2012, representing about a fifth of all domestic two-piece beverage can capacity.
