October 30: Prices of food cans and closures supplied by leading canmaker Crown will rise by an average 5.5 percent in Europe from the beginning of 2008.
Its Food Europe and Closures Europe divisions will be increasing prices in all the markets and regions they serve following the decision by tinplate manufacturers to significantly increase prices in January.
