Australia’s Barokes will next year be selling its wine in aluminium bottles made by Daiwa Can, following the purchase of a shareholding in the winery by the Japanese canmaking company.

With patents for its Vinsafe canned wine technology in 40 countries, Barokes will be using the Slim Wine Bottle Can introduced by Daiwa last year and which won the Delegates Choice prize in the Cans of the Year Awards during The Canmaker Summit in Istanbul.
