August 14: Canmaking companies will get a better service for specialist coatings and sealants at their plants with the reorganisation of units within W R Grace, the US-based global supplier of specialty materials and formulations to industrial and consumer markets.
The Darex Packaging Technology unit, a specialist supplier of coatings and sealants for metal packaging, has been combined with the Engineered Materials unit.
The new group is called Grace Davison Materials & Packaging Technologies (M&PT).
The combined sales and technical service teams will provide canmakers with a larger group of technical staff and a faster response time, says the company.
