October 18: Cans with customised and personalised labels digitally printed at line speed could be in production at a North American plant next year.
Revealed to The Canmaker last year in prototype form, the cans have so far been developed on an off-line system over the past 12 months in a Crown Holdings project partnered with Jetrion LLC, based at Ypsilanti, Michigan, which is a division of Flint Ink.
