Recently confirmed conference speakers are Augusto França, head of research at Brasilata; Paulo Sousa, chief executive of Colep; Alexander Kuzan, vice president of Novelis’ can Europe department; and Pete Booth, board director of Tin Horse.

The line-up of speakers also includes Dr Ulrich Nehring, managing director of Nehring Consultants; Nishino Satoshi, executive officer at Toyo Seikan; Michael Mapes, chief executive of Trivium Packaging; Gus Reall, chief executive of Stolle Machinery; Dr Daniel Abramowicz, chief technology officer at Crown; Carey Causey, president of Ball Beverage Packaging for EMEA; and Martin Boaler, managing director of Moravia Cans.

Established more than 30 years ago, The Canmaker Summit is an annual event for the canmaking and can filling industries. As well as a conference, the Summit offers opportunities for networking – including a reception on the evening of 5 October – and The Canmaker Cans of the Year Awards gala dinner, at which the winners of this year’s Cans of the Year Awards will be announced.

All the entries into this year’s Awards will also be on display at the Summit. The deadline for entries has been extended to 22 July.

Attendees who require a discounted registration rate can register and find more information on The Canmaker Summit website.
